最近网上出现了一种新鲜玩意儿，看上去很玄的美国货。英文名叫Intelligender，中文名叫验胎灵。它的宣传语是这样的：

说的是啥呢？原来是一个人在用这个玩意儿的时候不知怎的被灼伤了胳膊和手。这时候她，应该是她吧，才发现这包装和说明书上根本没说里面是啥玩意儿。差不多是个三无产品。

继续谷歌这个神奇的东西。发现绝大多数的信息居然是中文的，仅有的几个英文信息（除了产品宣传网站外）来自一些孕婴论坛。一看不得了，这国外的准妈妈们科学素养就是高。

Ok laides. I bought a few of the intelligender sex prediction kits. You pee in a cup and if it turns green, its a boy. If it turns yellow/orange, its a girl. This test is nothing more then a PH test!!!!!!!!!! I took the first test and got a dark green result. My urine is alkline which we all know, favors a baby boy. I went ahead and changed my PH to acidic by taking cranberry... I brought my urine PH down to a 5 and guess what!?? I did the test again, and I got a girl result. Acidic PH favors girl conceptions. Thnik about the PH test strips you used. Green or blue means alkline (boy) and yellow/orange is acidic (girl) Save your money ladies as this test is nothing but a very expensive PH test.

Has anyone tried it? It's an at-home urine test that supposedly tells you the gender of the baby. The site says it's "over 90% accurate" and can be used anytime from week 10 on. I think it's an interesting concept (and could conceivably prevent unnecessary ultrasounds), but I have no idea if it actually works! I'd be interested to hear what you think. Waste of money, interesting experiment, useful tool? I'll be at 12 weeks when we close on our new house, so part of me wants to give it a try in case that influences our painting plans, but hubby's reaction was, "That's stupid, we're not paying $35 for that!" I guess I could ask for it for my birthday. So what are your thoughts? If you've tried it, did it work (or do you think it worked, if you don't know for sure yet)? If you haven't, would you consider it?

  医学版里有好几篇关于分析受孕和胎儿性别的文章。总的来说就是没什么关系。第一，所谓的人的酸碱体质其实是不科学的说法，人身体有自动的平衡系统，会把酸碱度保存在一定的状态的。
  
  第二，Y染色体周围的体液确实碱性会比较高，但不代表Y染色体在碱性环境下存活率高进而推断出碱性环境利于生日子。

而B超的鉴定又需要胎儿成型之后，不但对胎儿有射线的伤害，且在国内属违规。美国Intelligender胎儿性别测试杯，自己在家即可亲自测试，既简单便捷，又安全准确！

我也想说ultrasound不是射线吧。不过这个错误很多人会犯，我的牙医那天还说他老婆去做ultrasound，吃辐射了。

其实这东西在美国真不是当作正经男女预测用的。很多时候就是朋友送来送去当作一种好玩的东西。反正到时候大B超都会知道男女

Intelligender 几年前在美国开始卖这个现在大多数药店都有卖的大概$30-35。但是没人知道具体原理。公司的网页上说不是测PH. http://www.intelligender.com/gender-prediction-test-faqs.html.

cnn一年前作过个报道（http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/06/09/gender.prediction.test/index.html ). 说是不卖印度和中国。
